FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Paint Protection Film in Vevey
Does the paint need to be prepared before PPF installation?
Yes, we systematically carry out a wash and decontamination of the bodywork before installation. If paint defects are present, we recommend prior correction so that the film is installed on a perfect surface.
Does PPF protect against bird droppings?
Yes, PPF offers excellent protection against bird droppings and other chemical contaminants that can damage the paint. The self-healing property of the film also handles superficial marks.
How do I look after a vehicle protected with film?
Like normal bodywork, avoiding the pressure washer on the film edges. We give you the instructions when we hand the vehicle back.
Can the film be removed later?
Yes, it comes off cleanly and the original paint reappears exactly as it was underneath.
Can film be fitted to a car that has already been driven?
Yes. The bodywork is prepared and corrected if needed before fitting: the film must never seal a defect underneath it.
